The Tata Safari has been symbolic of the Indian SUV market. Initially, it shared the same chassis and suspension as its cousins, the Sierra, the Sumo and so on. Its a bit of an old dog, this car and in the world-manufacturing scene, cars are usually replaced by the time they are as old as the safari. Tata though has decided not to replace their aging safari, but to give it a heart transplant and a bit of a facial if you will.

Lines of the Safari DICoR aren't very different from the outgoing safari and save for the new headlamps, tail lamps and a more pronounce chrome chin, the changes are hardly noticeable. It still looks every bit a softroader as it used to, but right now; I think it got even more civilized.
